This is a software tool that helps extract attachments from emails.
Attachments Processor 2009 is a convenient solution for companies that receive messages with orders, forms, or updates sent as attachments. These documents usually need to be separated and processed further. You can use ATP to create archive of attachments, separating them into any arrangement you like. This can be on the basis of specific clients, separate subjects, received in a given interval etc. The tool is capable of handling many document formats and work with many mailboxes. The mailboxes compatible are Microsoft Windows Mail in Windows Vista, Microsoft Exchange via MAPI, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express 5, Mozilla Thunderbird, The Bat!, etc. Attachments are organized into projects so that further work is easily done. The operations include opening attachments, deleting them using different masks, viewing attachment descriptions etc.
The program archives messages extracted from the message databases. The interface is built on MS ribbon style and is very intuitive to use. The extraction of attachments is controlled through buttons that are like any media play control ones. Sorting in ascending and descending orders is possible. You can export data in plain text format or in Excel sheets. Rather than extracting attachments one by one, this tool gives you a jump in productivity. If you business depends a lot on getting such attachments out, on which you have to do further processing, this is something you should try out. If the tool is able to fit right in into your workflow then obtain the priced version. This is quite a handy tool.
